Courtney is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor who will be applying for her LPC in Spring 2019. She has experience working with adolescents, families, and victims of domestic violence.
Courtney earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Missouri, and her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During her graduate program she was an intern at Hope House, working with victims of domestic violence of all backgrounds. Upon graduation, she began employment at Ozanam’s residential treatment facility, working on a dorm of adolescent boys with histories of trauma. After working there for 9 months, she transitioned to the Ozanam Day Treatment School as a school therapist, where she has worked for 1.5 years. She is passionate about working with adolescents and their families using a person centered approach and considers herself to be a very relationship oriented therapist.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, as well as playing volleyball and reading.
Courtney is currently available Saturdays from 9-1. Her hours will be expanding in March 2019.
