Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor; Nationally Certified, a member of the American Counseling Association, and trained in many areas; including MI, EMDR and CBT.  She has extensive training in co-occurring illnesses; working with people with addictions and/or mental health issues for over ten years.  She enjoys working with both adolescent/teens and adults.  She specializes not only with addictions; but also trauma/PTSD work, depression, anxiety, mood swings and so much more.  She has spent over eight years providing individual and group counseling work focusing on relapse prevention, grief and loss, women empowerment and trauma work.  

She graduated from a CACREP accredited University; UCM with her Masters in Counseling Mental Health.  Jessica’s friends and family would describe her as funny, caring, unique and personable.  She thinks of herself as an eclectic, genuine and client-centered counselor; meaning, she will adapt; using various counseling techniques as needed with each individual client.  She finds that genuineness helps people feel comfortable working with her; it helps build an effective therapeutic alliance with no judgment.  Some of Jessica’s favorite things to do are laugh, spend time with family, friends, her dogs, or watch a good television or Netflix show.
