Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arkansas in 2022 and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2025. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC). Amy has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy. Before becoming a PLPC, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting individuals with behavioral challenges such as aggression, self-injury, elopement, and property destruction.

Amy has journeyed with a wide range of individuals, including neurodivergent children, children navigating trauma and divorce, adolescents with complex trauma, adults working through family relationships, and survivors of sexual and physical abuse. Grounded in trauma-informed care and Gestalt therapy, she views counseling as a team effort—walking alongside others as they pursue meaningful goals. Her approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, creating a space where those she journeys with feel safe to explore, grow, and be themselves. She often integrates play and expressive arts, especially for those who connect best through creativity and non-verbal expression.

Outside the therapy room, Amy enjoys dancing, hanging out with her dog Osage, playing board games, trying to cook new recipes in her kitchen, and looking for the best plate of nachos in town.

“We are all travelers on a journey, seeking meaning and connection in a world that is often uncertain.” – Irvin Yalom

Amy is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor under the supervision of Amy Dublinske, M.A., LPC (MO#2012041311).
