816-246-4465
Brian Flinn is a counseling intern completing his Master’s Degree in Community Counseling at Missouri Valley College. After a career in sales, construction, and a meaningful period as a stay‐at‐home parent he brings a grounded presence to the therapeutic relationship. These experiences shaped his calm, supportive style and his ability to connect authentically with children, adolescents and adults.
Clinically, Brian is developing a foundation in psychodynamic principles, family systems thinking, and mindfulness‐based approaches. His interactions are shaped by empathy, a steady demeanor, and his ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. His transition into counseling reflects a deep interest in human resilience and the ways individuals and families navigate challenge, change, and growth. Outside of his clinical work, Brian enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, and staying active outdoors through hiking, running, and anything with water.
