Jen Sperl is a compassionate mental health professional currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at
Walden University. With a diverse professional background that spans 14 years in Human Resources, 4 years in the non-profit field with
Della Lamb Community Services, she served for 2 years as the Registrar at Sumner Academy with the KCK School District, and the past 3
years as a High School Substitute Teacher with the Platte County School District. Jen brings a well-rounded, empathetic perspective to her
future practice. She also holds a BA in Communications from Park University and an MA in Human Resources from Ottawa University.
Jen is dedicated to providing a safe and judgment-free space for her clients. Her therapeutic approach will utilize Adlerian and Polyvagal
theories, complemented by a strong belief in Guided Meditation and Somatic Therapy. She is deeply passionate about advocating for
marginalized youth, particularly those in the LGBTQIA+ community and those suffering from chronic pain and invisible illnesses.
At home, Jen is a devoted family member; she loves spending quality moments with her husband, her daughter, her in-laws, and her dad
and his significant other. Her home is overflowing with love that comes with four paws in the form of two tuxedo cats (Remi and Maggie),
and Two spoiled pups ( Franklin, and Augustus). In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, mindful meditation, jewelry making,
and going to movies and concerts.
