Taylor received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Couples and Family Therapy at University of Missouri at Kansas City. She is a Provisionally Licensed Practical Counselor (PLPC) in the state of Missouri. Taylor enjoys counseling kids, teens, adults, couples, and families. Her frame of reference is a holistic, client-centered approach and she is specializing in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Gottman Method for couples’ therapy. Taylor has helped clients with a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, couples’ issues, burnout, and religious trauma.

Before starting her training to become a counselor, Taylor worked as a Certified Medical Laboratory Technician for 5 years in Nebraska. After moving to Kansas City with her husband, Taylor returned to college to pursue her dream of becoming a therapist. She heavily enjoyed her college studies and continues to learn through continuing education training in the counseling field. Taylor is passionate about helping people create and live their most rich, meaningful life. Taylor is also fervent about assisting couples in creating and maintaining loving, healthy relationships. She believes in meeting clients where they are when they enter the therapeutic space. She welcomes clients of all backgrounds. Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband, son, friends, two dogs, and cat. She loves nature walks, reading, drinking coffee, and listening to music and podcasts.
